The Caboto Club made headlines last week when Premier Kathleen Wynne chose to move her town hall appearance to the St. Clair Centre of the Arts due to the club's men's only board policy.
Unifor's Dino Chiodo and Windsor-Essex Chamber of Commerce CEO Matt Marchand sat down with General Manager Ron Moro Saturday morning.
This morning @D_Chiodo, Ron Moro and I met. The discussion was helpful and appreciated. It will be on Caboto's upcoming Executive Meeting Agenda. More to follow. @PatPapadeas @doug_sartori @winstarjarvis @lorinewton

In the wake of Wynne's move some local businesses have also called out the venue for their current policy, some even cancelling events.
Marchand tells AM800 News it was a "candid" discussion.
"I don't want to get into specifics in the media, but we did have a candid conversation about the status quo and we'll leave it at that," he says.
Marchand stopped short of saying the current policy would have an impact on the current relationship between the chamber and the Caboto Club.
"We certainly shared our views, they are a private club and we understand that. It will be up to them to go back and take back that discussion," he says. "Once we have an understanding of where they sit and where they see their direction we'll be in a better position as a chamber to act on that."
Chiodo was recently named Italian of the Year, the gala to honour him is slated for March.
The issue will be discussed at the club's next executive meeting later this month.
