The Spitfires take on the second ranked team in the CHL, the Knights this evening in London.
Thursday night, the Spits opened the season with a 4-3 overtime win against Guelph at the WFCU Centre.
Rookie goalie Kari Piiroinen was sharp making 43 saves in his OHL debut.
"We just have to hop on the bikes, flush out the legs a little bit, we know Longon is a good team so we just have to play like we did Thursday and I think we'll be alright," says Luke Kutkevicius, who scored Thursday's the game winner.
Jean Luc Foudy, who assisted on the winning goal says he's looking forward to playing tonight in London.
"I know it will be a packed growd on opening night and it will be a big game and hopefully we can pull out the 'dub'."
To be successful against the Knights, Spits coach Trevor Letowski says they can't take so many penalties.
"We take seven, we're in big trouble." he says. "Coming back in our zone we were way too loopy and we didn't seem too organized so we have to tighten up and be a bit more structured defensively."
Michael DiPietro, who was returned by the Vancouver Canuks on Thursday is expected to start in goal.
AM800's coverage starts at 7:05pm with the pregame show and puck drop at 7:30pm.
