A 36yearold Windsor man is facing several charges
A Windsor man faces multiple charges after being arrested in connection with a knifepoint convenience store robbery.
Officers were called to the Quick Mart at the corner of Wyandotte St. E. and Isabelle St. around 9:30am Saturday morning.
Investigators say the suspect made off with a carton of cigarettes.
On Sunday afternoon, an officer spotted a man matching the description of the suspect.
A taser was used by police after the suspect became combative and resisted arrest, with the man suffering a minor injury while being placed in handcuffs.
A 36-year-old man is charged with robbery, possession of a dangerous weapon and resisting arrest.
