Windsor police have yet to confirm which investigation Fridays arrest stems from

Police in Kitchener, Ont. made an arrest in relation to a Windsor, Ont. homicide over the weekend.

CTV News reported a large police presence outside an apartment building on Mausser Avenue, near Stirling Avenue South Friday afternoon.

Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) officers could be seen bringing people out of the building in handcuffs and a police canine unit was also seen in the area, according to CTV Kitchener.

Police tell CTV News, "suspects were located in a Kitchener, Ont. residence and have since been arrested" but directed any further enquiries to the Windsor Police Service.

Windsor's Major Crimes Branch would only confirm it's an ongoing investigation Sunday afternoon and further details will be released when they're available.
