It's coming down to the wire for the Salvation Army's annual Kettle Campaign.
The campaign was still $83,000 short of its $320,000 goal heading into the weekend, but Spokesperson Shannon Wise says the campaign made some gains heading into its final day Monday.
She says they've hit $296,000, just $24,000 under the mark and she hopes Windsor-Essex will come out in force to asure the $320,000 goal is reached by the end of the day.
The organization is still looking to fill some kettle bell shifts as well.
There are 16 kettle-locations across Essex County but she says people can also donate through the Salvation Army's website.
Wise points out the Kettle Campaign does more than just fund Christmas baskets, it keeps Salvation Army programs like their food bank going all year.
