The new-look LA Clippers are ready to compete for a championship after introducing Paul George and Kawhi Leonard.
The duo spoke at an introductory news conference on Wednesday.
Leonard says he's glad that he's playing with Paul George.
"I'm on my next journey and I thinkwe've got a great future. Paul is a player I always wanted to play with."
They were joined by coach Doc Rivers and billionaire owner Steve Ballmer.
Leonard is the reigning NBA Finals MVP after guiding Toronto to its first championship last month, but left Canada to sign a three-year deal with the Clippers.
The franchise then acquired George in a blockbuster trade with Oklahoma City.
George says it's been a dream of his to play in Southern California.
"I've always wanted to play back home and see what that was like and do something for my hometown, so I think now that I'm here I can do that on a full-time level."
The Clippers are now the betting favorite to win the 2020 NBA Finals. Both George and Leonard grew up in the LA-area and expressed excitement at playing in Southern California.
The hype is at an all-time high for the Clippers' rivalry with the Lakers, who they'll clash with four times this season at the Staples Center.
