A member of the Chatham-Kent Police K9 Unit will be getting a dog biscuit today after sniffing out an alleged armed robbery suspect in Dresden.
police responded to a business for a report of a man with a knife demanding money Around 3am Sunday.
Officers arrived to find the suspect had fled on foot after an unsuccessful robbery attempt.
K9 Arry was called to the scene and was able to track the suspect who was still nearby — 27-year-old man from Dresden was arrested without incident.
He's charged with robbery with intent and is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Nobody was injured.
