The trial of a Windsor man on a second degree murder charge has seen key items from the scene.
49-year-old John Wayne Pierre is accused in the November 2016 killing of Lesley Watterworth.

Constable William Hodgins, a Windsor police forensics officer who processed the scene in the upstairs of 925 Curry Avenue took the stand.
The jury has been shown photos taken the day following the murder showing large areas of blood in the kitchen.

Much of the blood was on the floor near the fridge, but some was also smeared on the wall and around a window.
Photos from the living room were shown including a coffee table with a blood-stained knife and beer cans.
As well a knife tip recovered from the kitchen.

The jury was then shown the knife and beer cans.
In his opening statement Assistant Crown Eric Costeris told the jury the injury that killed Watterworth was a stab wound to the back.
