The Detroit Lions have placed Marvin Jones Jr. on injuried reserve for his knee.
In addition, the NFL team has signed Nichilas Grigsby to the active roster from the practice squad and free agent Eric Lee to the practice squad.
Grigsby is in his fourth NFL season and spent a stint on the Lions practice squad after appearing in nine games for the New England Patriots earlier this season. He has recorded four total tackles in 21 career games.
Lee returns to Detroit after beginning the season on the club’s practice squad, before appearing in five games for the team as a member of the active roster. He originally entered the NFL in 2016 with the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent out of South Florida. In 11 career games, his career totals include 21 total tackles, 3.5 sacks and one interception.
