More than 50 charges were laid in the latest Essex County OPP and Ministry of Transportation blitz targeting transport trucks.
Of the 26 inspections conducted Monday in Kingsville, 13 vehicles were taken out of service and five licence plates were seized.
A total of 51 charges were laid relating to vehicle maintenance, driver condition and other violations.
The OPP will continue to work with their ministry and policing partners to identify and enforce road safety violations in Essex County.
