At least 1500 students from St. Clair College and the University of Windsor took part in the 18th annual shared job fair.
They wandered among the 90 plus employers who had set up booths at the college Sportsplex.
Luke Tremblay is in the security program at the college: "I checked out the Canadian Forces Booth, the Ontario Missionaries for Security and also the Caesars booth for security, hoping one day to be a security guard or ultimately a police officer but security would be a good place to start"
Not everyone was seeking employment, Kristen Derbyshire was hoping to gain experience: "I'm looking for an internship in the HR field because I'm at the college for HR so looking for an internship possibly a job, but I don't have much experience so internship just to kick me off"
Recent Engineering graduate Rajish Medidi is glad for the prep course he took to get ready for interviews: "definitely there are a lot of things they're asking for, specific skills, asking for numbers of years of experience would you be able to relocate, there's a lot of criteria you've got to meet so it's hard, it's pretty hard"
