The Detroit Lions are making some changes after going 6-10 this NFL season year and have announced the team will not renew offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter's contract.
Detroit finished 25th in scoring and 24th in total offense, while starting quarterback Matthew Stafford passed for a career-low 3,777 yards in a full season with 21 touchdowns, his fewest since 2012.
Cooter was hired as Lions quarterbacks coach in 2014 and took over as OC during the 2015 season after Joe Lombardi was fired.
A replacement has yet to be named.
