The Jets used a three-goal first period to dump the Golden Knights 4-2 in Game One of the Western Conference Final in Winnipeg.
Dustin Byfuglien and Mark Scheifele chipped in with one goal apiece to help the Jets take a 1-0 lead in the series.
Patrik Laine and Joel Armia also scored for Winnipeg.
Brayden McNabb and William Karlsson scored for Vegas and Jonathan Marchessault assisted on both goals.
The series will continue tomorrow when the Jets host the Golden Knights in Game Two.
