Donovan Mitchell scored 28 points to push the NBA's Jazz past the Detroit Pistons 100-94 in Salt Lake City.
Rudy Gobert added 18 points and pulled down 25 rebounds for Utah, which held Detroit to 35 second-half points.
The Jazz have won four in-a-row and six of their last seven games to improve to 24-and-21.
Blake Griffin had 19 points to lead the Pistons, who were outrebounded 55-to-38.
Andre Drummond added 15 points and 13 boards and Reggie Bullock contributed 13 points for Detroit, which has dropped eight of its last 10 games to fall to 18-and-24.
Detroit opens a three-game homestand against the Orlando Magic Wednesday night.
