It's about to get cold.
After the snowiest December in Windsor since 2013, a cold front is set to move in.
Environment Canada meteorologist Mark Schuster says temperatures are forecast to drop well below seasonal.
"Normal high for this time of year is about -1 and it looks like for about the next week we're going to have daytime highs considerably colder than that. Looks like daytime highs closer to -7 or -8 believe it or not," says Schuster.
He says it looks like January's cold snap could last until about the next Tuesday before warmer temperatures set in.
December saw 51.7cm of snowfall recorded at Windsor Airport with about 30cm falling in one shot around December 10 and 11.
The average snowfall in December in Windsor is 28.8cm
