The Jamieson Jr Golf Tour held made a stop at Rochester Place Golf and Resort on Monday, and there were some impressive scores.
Playing in her first event of the season, Jasmine Ly (Roseland) took home the crown in the Junior Girl's Division, shooting a one-over par 73 to best Shannon Coffey by four strokes.
In the Collegiate Womens' Division, it was a tight race between all competitors, with only two strokes separating 1st and 4th place.
Megan Schauer (Tennessee Wesleyan) ended up earning the top spot with an 85, while Nicole Cesca (Windsor Lancers) and Melanie Burgess (Windsor Lancers) tied for second with 86, and Sophia Fallea finished fourth with an 87.
The Junior Boys' Division was another tight race, with Rylan Marontate (Kingsville) earning the victory with a two-under par 70, followed closely by Ryan Stevens (Maple City) with a 71 and Tyler Hurtubise (Sutton Creek) with a 72.
A playoff was needed to determine a winner in the Collegiate Mens' Division, with Derick Hare (Essex), Curtis Hughes (Rochester Place/Bowling Green) and Bryce Hughes (Rochester Place/Southeastern Oklahoma State) all firing 76 in the morning.
Bryce Hughes won on the first playoff hole as he made his birdie putt for the victory.
The Jamieson Junior Tour will stop at Essex Golf and Country Club on Wednesday for Event #4.
