Friday is day 154 of the ongoing Essex County library strike.

CUPE Local 2974 and Essex County Library management head back to the bargaining table on Friday.

It's the first time the two sides have met with a provincial mediator since mid September.

Sick time remains a key issue in the dispute.

The 58 full and part time employees walked off the job on June 25th to back contract demands resulting in the closure of 14 Essex County Library branches.

Friday is day 154 of the strike.
