WINDSOR — Windsor Police, Windsor Fire and two investigators with the Ontario Fire Marshal's Office are trying to determine the cause of a fire at Hogan's Printing over the weekend.
Around 7am Sunday, February 9th, fire crews were called to the business on Tecumseh Rd. East at Lincoln which sustained extensive damage and the roof collapsed.
The bank next door had smoke and water damage, while a dress shop had smoke damage.
Investigators are combing through the debris to try and figure out how the fire started.
Chief Fire Prevention Officer John Lee says most of the damage was at the back of the building.
"It is more middle to the rear for sure," says Lee. "The most significant area burning was in the rear."
Lee expects damages to be in excess of $500,000.
He says investigators want to take a look at the equipment inside the business.
"They are waiting for some equipment to pull some of the stuff out of the structure, so they can examine some other areas that they can't get to because of the roof collapse."
