'Indie Kitchen' has arrived in Windsor.
The YouTube cooking series explores independent restaurants across Ontario to see what makes them tick.
It's filming this week in Windsor and host Jamie Waldron says the city has a rich culinary background. "We know and love Windsor and we know there is a lot of good things happening there. From the craft cocktail scene to the kitchen scene where some of the restaurants are putting out some fantastic stuff and just the overall culture of the city and we aim to kinda touch upon all the things that we know and love. You know YouTube is global and we want to promote it to the global world."
Waldron told AM800's 'The Afternoon News' that response to the show has been positive.
"The show is very easy to connect to" says Waldron. "More often then not it is a very casual show. Hopefully people will take something away from it because I do ask some questions that maybe something that is a little more glossed over would not get to, something a little more deeper. We have been getting that response that people are actually learning from the show.")
