The Cleveland Indians are rewriting the record books.
The Indians topped the Tigers 5-3 to set the American League record with their 21st straight win.
The Tribe surpasses the previous mark of 20 set by the Oakland A's in 2002. Only the Chicago Cubs and New York Giants have had longer streaks in MLB history.
The Cubs won 21 in-a-row in 1935, while the Giants won 26 straight in 1916.
Jay Bruce belted a three-run homer in the first inning and Roberto Perez hit a solo shot in the seventh for the Indians, who haven't lost since August 23rd. Buck Farmer fell to 4-and-3 for Detroit.
Catcher James McCann and manager Brad Ausmus were both ejected in the third inning after arguing balls and strikes with home plate umpire Quinn Wolcott.
