Leamington Marina is set to get a facelift.
A portion of the facility's docks were damaged during a tornado in 2010 and they've never been fully repaired.
Manager of Recreation Services, Terry Symons says the docks have been kept safe and operational since that time.
The town has set aside $530,000 for the project, with $50,000 going to Dillon Consulting for consultation and design.

Symons says this is the last phase of the rebuild. "All the other docks have been replaced since the tornado. This is the last one. Did a condition assessment and determined that it was the right time to do a full replacement as opposed to repairs. So we're going to take advantage of that, at this point, and have the consultant on board to help us with potential expansion ideas."
Symons says they'll wait for the busy boating season to end before beginning construction. "Once we close down for the season, we hope to start breaking ground. We've got a pretty quick turnaround as far as getting tender documents from the consultant and reviewing them with the consultant to get them out for construction. Then, at the very least, be ready for the 2018 season."
