More than 200 cats found their forever homes.
Hundreds of cats found their forever homes in what the Windsor-Essex County Humane Society dubbed its 'biggest adoption promotion" ever.
From Friday, July 6 to Sunday, July 8, all cats and kittens were up for adoption for free and dogs were up for free on Saturday only.
Society Executive Director Melanie Coulter says the event was very successful to help free up some space.
In total, 205 cats, 15 dogs, one rabbit and one guinea pig were adopted.
