The Humboldt Broncos were back on the ice Tuesday for a practice before Wednesday night's much-anticipated home owner against the Nipawin Hawks.
The Hawks are the same Junior A team the Broncos were on their way to play in April when their bus collided with a tractor-trailer, killing 16 people, including 10 players.
Only two survivors, Derek Patter and Brayden Camrud, are back on the team this season and will play in the sold-out game.
AM800 will carry Wednesday night's game live starting with a special, hour-long pre-game show at 7:30pm featuring stories and interviews.
The game will be followed by an on-ice ceremony in tribute to all those affected.
