Careless smoking is getting the blame for a house fire in Sandwich Town.
Windsor Fire and Rescue was called to the 700-block of Piche St. at around 5:30pm Wednesday afternoon.
Crews arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the home, but those who were in the house were able to get out safely.
While no injuries are reported, two people have been left homeless.
Damage is estimated at $150,000.
