Damage is pegged at $100,000 after a house fire in downtown Windsor.
Windsor fire crews were called to the 700 block of Parent Avenue near Tuscarora Street around 9 Monday night for an upgraded structure fire.
In a social media post, chief fire prevention officer John Smith says the fire was quickly brought under control.
He says the fire originated in a bedroom of the 1.5-story home.
Smith says a cause is still being investigated, and the fire has displaced seven people.
