Local unionized hospital workers are hoping to send a message about the current province-wide bargaining.
A demonstration was held this week in front of Windsor Regional Hospital's Ouellette Campus.
It was part of demonstrations at eight hospital across the province to speak out against Ontario Hospital Association negotiating tactics.
Unifor, the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) and Service Employees Internations Union (SEIU) Healthcare have banded together.
Those unions represent about 600 workers at both the Met and Ouellette campuses of Windsor Regional as well as Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare.
There are some outstanding local negotiations, but this addresses the central bargaining practices.
Unifor Local 2458 Vice President Ken Durocher says Windsor Regional does not have a good bargaining record.
"It's been an ongoing with this hospital, arbitration back in 2014, back in 2012 and our members are fed up with waiting two years with every contract they get to get a deal done with this hospital."
The union's Secretary Treasurer Tulio DiPonti is mystified because the province has just topped up hospital funding.
"We saw the Sunshine list, and I can tell you the administration in here, some of them got up to a 5% increase, yet they're trying to give us the crumbs that are out there."

DiPonti says the OHA is controlling the process.
"We know for a fact they have told the CEOs of the hospitals, the HR departments, not to bargain nothing until they get one of the big groups, the central groups done. Obviously we're used to bargaining our own collective agreement our members expect that and we need to do that again."
The unions have banded together under the banner "Together for Respect."
Nurses, personal support workers, administrative staff, as well as custodial employees are part of 75,000 workers at 160 public hospitals across Ontario who want a new contract.
