A Home Depot store in Windsor is asking for the public's help.
The store on Division Rd. at Walker Rd. has launched its annual "Orange Door Project."
Assistant Manager Sherri Jean says for the sixth straight year donations from the project will go to the Windsor Residence for Young Men.
She says donations can be made at the check out or online at orangedoorproject.ca.
"Every purchase you make the cashier will ask you to donate to our rim, our charity and you can donate any amount of money you choose," says Jean.
Jean says last year's fundraiser was the best one yet.
"We've been increasing our charity donation every year," says Jean. "Last year we raised $12,000."
She says money all the money raised stays in Windsor.
"Normally with these charity campaigns at any other store, big box retailer the funds get spread out across the country but these funds stay directly in our city to help our youth," says Jean.
The fundraiser wraps up on June 23.
The Windsor Residence for Young Men assists roughly 50 young homeless men between the ages of 16 to 23 every year.
