Kelly won eight Stanley Cups with the Detroit Red Wings and Toronto Maple Leafs
A former Stanley Cup winner and Hockey Hall of Famer has passed away.
Red Kelly died in Toronto Thursday morning at the age 91.
He spent 13-seasons with the Detroit Red Wings winning four Stanley Cups.
Kelly was later traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs and spent eight seasons with the team winning four more cups.
His number 4 jersey was retired by the Leafs in 2016. The Wings raised her jersey to the rafters this past February.
Kelly was also elected a Liberal MP for the Toronto riding of York-West in 1962 and again in 1963.
