The sun is shining for the 3rd annual Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Ontario.
On Thursday, students, staff and sponsors all jumped into the chilly water at St. Clair College.
Ryan Newman took part in the dip.

He tells AM800 news how he felt when he first hit the water.
"It's cold and my heart might not take it. It was good, as soon as I got in the water my first initial thought was get out it's cold," says Newman.
A temporary outdoor pool filled with ice cold water has been set at the college's main campus.
The event continues on Saturday for the general public.
