A traffic note for Friday evening.
Ontario Provincial Police report that Highway 401 eastbound is closed between County Road 27 and Lakeshore Road 123 in Essex following a crash, and will likely remain that way until midnight.
OPP remain on scene, but there is no word on any injuries yet.
Drivers should avoid the area if possible.
