High E. coli counts have closed Lakeshore Lakeview Park West Beach for this weekend.
The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit (WECHU) says weekly testing happened on August 5 that shows E. coli counts higher than 1000 at the Lakeshore beach.
The health unit is also advising against swimming at Colchester Beach due to high E.coli counts.
WECHU says swimming is safe at the five other local beaches.
