It's shaping up to be a very windy Sunday across Windsor-Essex.
Environment Canada has issued a Special Weather Statement for Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent with wind gusts up to 110km/h expected Sunday afternoon and into Sunday night with areas near the Great Lakes expected to be the hardest hit.
Damage to buildings, roofs, shingles and windows may occur and power outages are also possible.
The strong winds are expected to gradually weaken heading into Monday.
Environment Canada is cautioning residents about blowing snow as well Sunday afternoon with 2cm to 5cm in the forecast.
The snow combined with the high winds will create whiteout conditions making driving especially difficult.
