A heat warning has been issued for Windsor-Essex.
Environment Canada says temperatures could reach 33 C or 39C with humidity Saturday and Sunday.
According to the warning, the heat could carry through into Monday in some areas of the county.
Overnight temperatures could provide some relief, dropping as low as 17 C.
Environment Canada says hot humid air can cause poor air quality and pose a risk for young children, pregnant women, older adults, people with chronic illnesses and people working or exercising outdoors.
Officials are reminding residents never to leave children and pets in parked vehicles during hot weather.
