Another hot muggy day and another heat warning from the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit.
It issued the warning on the weekend and extended it into Monday due to the hot temperatures.
Health Promotions Specialist Amandeep Hans is asking people to keep an eye out for warning signs like dizziness, headaches, nausea, vomiting and confusion.
"They have a criteria when the temperature reaches 31 C or the night time is 21 or humidex is 42," she says.
She says there are steps to take to minimize the effects of this heat.
"Drink plenty of water, even if they don't feel thirsty when it is this hot and limit outdoor activities to the coolest part of the day. If you are working outdoors, rest frequently in shady areas and don't leave kids or pets in closed cars."
Temperatures are expected to cool down by Thursday.
