The COVID-19 count continues to climb in Windsor-Essex with 18 new cases reported Saturday.
The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit says 15 are due to close contact with a confirmed case while three remain under investigation.
The region's death toll remains at 72 with 2,366 people making a full recovery after contracting the virus.
With Saturday's numbers, Windsor-Essex now has 2,511 cases of COVID-19.
One long-term care home remains under outbreak protocol — New Beginnings in Leamington.
There are also outbreaks being reported at two workplaces in Leamington and Windsor.
