A Harrow native and his best friend have taken home the coveted title of the Amazing Race Canada champions.
Craig Ramsay and Catherine Wreford-Ledlow travelled across five provinces, 24 cities, and more than 20,000 km from coast to coast before hitting the mat first in the finale leg of the race.
Ramsay says they held a watch party in Toronto last night, and felt the love from a contingent from Windsor.
"They put the win in this for me, Windsor. Just so grateful for so many people making the trip up, and we certainly have to revisit a re-watch party now in Windsor. Maybe we'll set a date, maybe October 1, we'll plan it," he said.
Wreford-Ledlow says they're going to find out soon what their travel plans will look like as part of the prize for winning.
"I want to travel the world with my family, and Craig and his husband too. We just want to be able to experience the world and show our kids the world, but mainly we want to travel in Canada," she continued. "We want to go back to all of these beautiful places that the race brought us to."
Ramsay says the win is going to compliment what their careers already are, as people know from the show that they're performers, hosts and involved in fitness.
"All of those things go hand in hand with the opportunities that come from being a title holder of Amazing Race Canada. This is a great opportunity to share what we really put in in terms of manifestations, and energy work connecting to universal consciousness. All of these things of trusting what's to come and what's ahead. I think there's a lot in there that we can share, and I look forward to doing that."
The pair takes home two new pick up trucks, a once-in-a-lifetime trip around the world and a $250,000 cash prize.
