The NDP has picked its candidate to run in the riding of Windsor-Tecumseh in next year's federal election.
Cheryl Hardcastle tweeted out that she is, 'honoured by such a great turnout and such strong support at the Legion Branch 205.'
In the 2015 election, Hardcastle took more than 43% of the vote, beating out the PC's Jo-Anne Gignac and Liberal's Frank Schiller.
She was appointed the NDP's critic for 'Sports and Persons with Disabilities' and 'International Human Rights.'
