Windsor police are investigating
Windsor police are investigating the theft of a number of firearms from a home in east Windsor.
Officers were called to the house in the 4300 block of Grand Marais Rd. E. near Bernard at about 6:30am Thursday.
The homeowner told them the guns, which are legally owned, had been stored in a safe. He discovered the safe was unlocked and a number of handguns had been taken.
The homeowner suspects it's someone he knows because there was no sign of a break-in or that the safe had been forced open.
