Kevin Hamlin has spent the past nine years at the helm in a parttime role
The University of Windsor has announced Kevin Hamlin has been named the first full-time head coach of the men's hockey team.
Under Hamlin, the team has made the playoffs in nine of his 10 seasons in a part-time role.
Twice the Lancers have advanced to the national championship tournament, and Hamlin has twice been named OUA coach of the year.
The Lancers won a Queen's Cup championship in 2013 and back-to-back appearances in the national championship in 2013 and 2014.
