A wrong turn by a U.S. citizen has led to the seizure of two firearms and marijuana products at the Windsor-Detroit Tunnel.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Detroit Field Office says the incident happened on March 15, during outbound enforcement operations by CBP officers.
According to CBP, the guns and drugs were seized, and the individual was released.
CBP is reminding individuals that proper documentation is required for firearms to cross the border and marijuana remains illegal under U.S. federal law.
