New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski was cleared from the concussion protocol and is expected to play in Sunday's Super Bowl LII against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Gronkowski was a full participant in practice before meeting with the media yesterday and announcing, "I'll be ready to roll."
Gronkowski had been in the concussion protocol since he was injured in the first half of the AFC Championship Game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Jan. 21.
"Everything's going good," said Gronkowski. "Happy to be back with the boys."
"They were more on the cautious side getting me out there," said Gronkowski.
The 6-foot-6, 265-pounder led the Patriots with 69 receptions for 1,084 yards and eight touchdowns this season.
