A grieving mother from Windsor is pleading to have a valuable jump drive returned to her.
Wednesday morning, Brenda Roberts discovered someone had broken into her van which was parked in her driveway on Ford Blvd.
The suspect took some change and a jump drive that contained photos of Roberts' daughter Kyra who passed away this past summer from ovarian cancer at the age of 25.
Roberts says she doesn't care about anything else--she just wants the jump drive back.
"I have a console in the middle of the van and they had dug everything out of the console," she says. "I had a Canada Post envelope with a jump drive in it that contained an interview and some photographs of my daughter Kyra and it was gone,"

She says photos of her daughter were destroyed in a basement flood a few years ago so the jump drive contained valuable, irreplaceable memories to her.
"I don't care about anything else. Those are memories that I can't get back," she says through tears.
"Drop it off at our mailbox. I don't have any hard feelings towards the person that broke in. The change they took, hopefully if they were hungry, it bought them a coffee and donut. I just really want my jump drive back."
Roberts called police to report the theft.
