Windsor-West MPP Lisa Gretzky is supporting striking Canadian Hearing Society workers.
She joined them on the picket line this morning in Windsor at the corner of Giles and McDougall.
Gretzky says the workers have been without a contact for four years and it's time for them to get a fair collective agreement.
"I'm will aware of the valuable service they provide and believe that they should have had a contract, a fair contract long before now," says Gretzky.
The workers have been on strike for the last nine days.
No new talks are planned.
The workers are members of CUPE Local 2073.
There are 227 workers across the province that are on strike.
The Canadian Hearing Society provides counselling services, hearing aid programs and sign language services.
