The St Clair College Green Giants will try and avoid losing four in a row Wednesday night when they host Muskegon.
The Clippers defeated the Green Giants 6-4 Tuesday night in the first of a two-game set.
General Manager Matt Sykes says Muskegon is always a touch match-up.
"They always get us," he says. "They're a good baseball team so we just have to come back out, we have to make the plays and we have to score runs when we can — we're having a hard time cashing in runs when we have the chance."
Despite the loss, Sykes says the team is remaining positive.
"Tonight we just have to go out and get back to just our baseball and play the way we need to play to see if we can get back in the win column."
He says the team is trying to stay focused because they have 13 games in 13.
"Six straight conference games and then we actually play the Greek National Team in an exhibition game on Monday so we've got certain guys playing in different positions that they may not be used to but we have to find a way to scrape together a few wins to get back into the playoff contention."
First pitch is at 7:05pm at Lacasse Park in Tecumseh.
