Play For A Cure gets support from former NHL players
Success for the "Play For A Cure" event in LaSalle.
The Pro-Am hockey tournament at the Vollmer Complex raised $262,000 for local cancer research.
The fundraising goal was $100,000.
Members of the NHL Alumni Team included Adam Graves, Todd Warriner and Marty McSorley who participated in a hockey game against the top fundraising team the "Cancer Research Collaboration Fund" which donated more than $46,000.
