You don't need to get your eyes checked, the giant Canadian flag along Windsor's waterfront is a little smaller.
The larger 60ft by 30ft flag was taken down Wednesday and replaced with a smaller version due to the storms that were coming into the region.
At the same time, Windsor's Manager of Parks Operations Yvan Mantha says the larger flag was tearing at the seams so it is in for repairs.
It is recommended, says Mantha, that whenever the wind gusts are stronger than 50km/hour, the giant flag be taken down.
"I don't know how long these flags are suppose to last, but it seems to me that it was a short time and what got damaged wasn't the whole flag just the seams at the end of the flag," says Mantha.
The city is responsible for maintenance of the flag and $100,000 was set aside for future upkeep.

"It gets pretty hard for us because it is four staff to take this flag up and down. We need the boom truck from forestry to go up past the lights to bring the flag down and we need two staff on the ground to receive the flag and not let it touch the ground and put it in a bag."
Mantha says a report will be going to council on how to deal with the maintenance issue admitting it is a bit of trial and error.
The giant flag went up in May.
The larger flag will be raised again depending on the weather and repairs.
