Attendance was down but donations were up.
Organizers of the 29th Annual McGregor Music Festival held June 10th, say gate numbers were down because of the weather, but the community and corporate sponsors stepped up.
In total, $44,000 was donated to the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation, up from last year's total of $39,000.

Event Chair, Sue LeClair says it's a pleasure to work the local foundation.
"The people there are awesome to work with and that makes a big help, when you get the support of the foundation that you're supporting," she says
Next year is the 30th Annual event and LeClair says there is just goal, she says "we want to try to raise $50,000 next year, that would be our goal. We're not changing a thing."
Proceeds from this year's event will support Women's Health, specifically video conferencing for when a doctor and patient need an appointment from a distance, as well as the Patient Assistance Fund.
