Robert Garrigus was the leader when the first round of the RBC Canadian Open was suspended due to high wind and potential lightning.
Garrigus fired a 9-under 63 that included a birdie after a rock saved his ball from water. He made five straight birdies on holes 2-6, then birdied four of the last six holes.
PGA Tour rookie Adam Schenk was second. He birdied the first five holes and the last three.
Davbid Hearn was the top Canadian at four under 68.
American Kirk Triplett and Thaworn Wiratchant of Thailand shot 7-under 65s to lead the Senior British Open by one stroke over Paul Mcginley and Canadian Stephen Ames through one round.
