The Spits beat the WHL's Seattle Thunderbirds Sunday night at the WFCU Centre 7-1.
In the first period Windsor scored three goals in 38-seconds, tying a Memorial Cup record.

Graham Knott and Julius Nattinen each had a pair while Jeremiah Addison, Logan Brown and Jeremy Bracco added the others.
Keegan Kolesar scored for Seattle.
With the loss, the Thunderbirds are now 0-2 in the tournament.
Windsor's next game is Wednesday against Erie.
