There are now three candidates seeking the deputy mayor's seat in Lakeshore.
Sean Gabriele is the latest to file his nomination papers.
It's his first time running for municipal politics and feels the town needs new ideas and a new voice around the council table.
"I think like anything else I want to make a difference in the community but I'm from here and I grow up here and I see what's happening right now," says Gabriele.
He believes the town needs to attract more businesses.
"I think we haven't encouraged enough businesses to come on board," says Gabriele. "I think there's some rules that need to be changed and I think it was just time for me to get involved."
Also running are current Deputy Mayor Al Fazio and current town councillor Tracey Bailey.
The municipal election is October 22nd.
